I enrolled my daughter in the teen dance class. The class is very small and the other kids are friendly so she is fitting in we’ll and having a great time. The instructor is really good with the kids – he uses humor and firmness to control them when they get distracted and I’ve never seen him lose patience. When he corrects them they don’t feel corrected – a skill I wish I had dealing with people. As a result my daughter is enjoying it more and more. She has a lot of dance experience and has run into a lot of the cliquish ness and Dance Mom nonsense before. So far none of that here.
I’ve watched other instructors too – a young man who is friendly and fun,and whom the kids clearly enjoy, and a dark haired woman who is elegant and seems serious, and who taught some very young children patiently and encouragingly.
I’ve noticed that the other employees - or maybe some are owners, I don’t know everyone yet – all seem friendly, helpful and encouraging.
I may even take some lessons myself – normally I feel too self-conscious but here I feel welcome.
I’m a newcomer, but my experience so far is a five.

Where do I even start? This place offers all kinds of dancing: swing, waltz, chacha, salsa, the list is endless! But it’s such a great place to learn how to dance and have fun. The teachers are all incredibly sweet, energetic, motivating, and remarkable at their craft. Whether you want to just drop in on different classes and have fun, or take it to the next level and train to compete (which is what I am doing now) it’s good for all levels of experience and interests. There’s also lots of fun dance parties at the studio where you all can get together and dance and have a good time as well as social outings! Fun + Dance = Steppin’ Out!!
Sitting in on a lesson and meeting Chris and Angela made it a no-brainer for my friend, Darryl, and I to sign up for private lessons & group lessons at Steppin’ Out. There was no sales pressure when the lesson programs were discussed. On the contrary, we found the entire environment, including the Instructors, Angela and Chris, to be friendly, fun, & more importantly, non-intimidating.
We are extremely happy with the results from our lessons thus far. We have even received compliments on our dancing & we feel like we actually know what we are doing! Being a part of the Steppin’ Out family (yes, that’s how it feels), has been a FUN learning experience and I could not be happier to have shared this extraordinary experience with my dance partner.
I have, & will continue to, recommend this studio to anyone that is interested in learning one or more dance styles, while having fun, participating in great social events, and meeting great people! THANK YOU Steppin’ Out Ballroom – a highly professional, motivational, encouraging and fun environment.
Steepin’ Out is the best! We first went to them about nine months before our wedding to get some dance lessons. Angela and Chris both helped us put together an amazing routine and our guests were blown away! They were extremely professional, explained things in a way that was easy for us to understand, and really showcased our strengths to make us look like good dancers. My husband and I plan to continue coming here for date nights! This studio really goes above and beyond to make you feel like family and I would recommend it to anybody, whether you want to learn just a few dance moves or choreograph a full blown routine.
Steppin Out is a great place for anyone who wants to learn how to dance. I joined the studio just for fun for my husband & I, now I Love it more than ever the instructors are great! I have met some of the nicest people.. . .they have dance socials and parties so everyone can practice in a very comfortable environment and so much more you just have to stop by and give them a try:) I am certainly glad I did, Thanks Chris!

I have been a ballroom dancer for many years and I would like to recommend Steppin Out Ballroom Dance in Rancho Cucamonga. It’s a wonderful place to take private and group dance lessons and the party on Friday night is a lot of fun. Not only will you learn to dance by the best instructors in the area, it’s great exercise and you will also meet a lot of very nice people. If you are looking for a place for all your dancing needs this is the place to go.

What a great studio!!!!! FUN FUN FUN! Our group class was fantastic. Top rate instruction. Super music. Our private 1:1 lesson was also top rate. I learned more in 1 session here at Steppin’ Out than I did in 6 weeks of community dance instruction! There are also dance based fitness class that get you moving and sweating while practicing dance moves over and over……getting them into muscle memory! The time goes by so quickly yet you get a great all around workout. The studio is clean, spacious and there is easy parking. I am happy they are in the area and I look forward to my dance classes.
